Welcome to Deep Space Nineteen, codename Starbase Concordia.

This powerful installation is under the command of Fleet Admiral Luke Robert Duncan. The base is one of the latest and new classes to be established by Starfleet among the stars, an Immense Class starbase.

Our primary role is to add in establishing a secure Federation presence in the Beta Quadrant, in which Task Force 21 serves in. The base is situated in Federation claimed territory between the Romulan Star Empire and the C'hakilian Empire. It is our duty to protect the interests of the United Federation of Planet's in region, as well as provide a peaceful reminder to our neighbours of the Federation's willingness for peaceful co-operation between all people of all kinds.

Starbase Concordia is named after the Roman goddess Concordia, who was the goddess of agreement, understanding, and marital harmony in Roman mythology. From Earth's past, we bring into the future the ideas of agreement, understanding and harmony among the stars.

We're here to build upon what so many others have constructed with our galactic neighbours. However, we aren't just involved with maintaining our political stance with the Romulans or the C'hakilians. We're here also to improve the Federation-Klingon Empire alliance in peaceful prosperity in the Beta Quadrant. We are also tasked in the duties of sustaining suitable and appropriate agreements with the Ferengi Alliance, with who the Federation has established a treaty allowing for them to share in trade routes with Federation shipping.

There are also many more species that have yet to hear our gospel of peaceful co-operation. People who we don't yet exist who are just about to take their first few steps in to the arena of galactic events. And finally there is the one race that Bravo Fleet exists to defend from...the Borg Collective.

This is our adventure...can you take on the challenges we provide?
